In the summer term of Year 5 parents have the option of registering their child to sit the Bexley and Kent Tests in September (please note the deadline to apply has now passed).  Parents can only apply for a place at a Bexley or Kent Grammar School if their child has been deemed selective in the appropriate Test:

• The 2024 Bexley Selection Test took place in school on Tuesday 10 September.  Parents are encouraged to read the advice from Bexley Council.  Results will be emailed to parents in October. 

• The Kent Test was held off-site on Saturday 14 September.  Results will be emailed to parents on Thursday 17 October. 

The presentation below regarding secondary school places is from Bexley Council and provides further information and guidance.  The three other documents will also assist during the secondary school application process.  Parents can apply for a secondary school place for their child from 1 September until 23h59 on 31 October 2024.  Late applications will not be processed until the end of April 2025 when most schools will be full, regardless whether a family has a sibling at their preferred choice of school.
