Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

Old Bexley CE Primary promotes the Single Child View.  We are an inclusive school, committed to meeting the individual needs of our pupils through an adaptive, creative differentiated curriculum.

Under the Children and Families Act of 2014, Local Authorities are required to publish, and keep under review, information about services that they expect to be available for children and young people with disabilities and Special Educational Needs aged 0-25.  This is known as the Local Offer.

 

The SEND team is headed up by Mrs M Hill.

Sensory Circuits

The PTA have recently funded some new sensory circuit equipment for SEND children in Reception through to Year 4.  The circuits are also available for children to access in the Quiet Room should they wish to have any sensory input during their school day.
